DAY TO DAY:

Our client, an international SaaS company is seeking this Strategic Finance Consultant who can come in and help out on a project they have. This project is centered around getting a better undesranding of the company’s ARR in general, so this role is focused on revenue and data cleaning. The role will support strategic finance and business operations projects focused on SaaS revenue, ARR, customer purchasing behavior, renewals, bookings, and revenue analysis. Responsibilities will include building and maintaining ARR and revenue models, analyzing customer and revenue trends, and developing scenario models for retention and bookings.

The individual will also pull, clean, and analyze operational data using SQL, Python, Excel, and other analytics tools, transforming complex or incomplete data into actionable insights for finance leadership. A key component of the role will be improving and automating these processes by documenting requirements, identifying efficiencies, and developing scalable solutions that can ultimately be implemented in tools such as Power BI. This project has two sides: 1 doing the work, 2 working on the automation of the process and writing requirement documents so they can eventually do this work in a tool like PowerBI.
