Overview
A senior‑level infrastructure engineer who owns the design, implementation, and support of enterprise technology systems. This role focuses heavily on Citrix, virtualization, security, lifecycle management, and 3rd‑tier escalation support across production and non‑production environments. The engineer operates independently, drives architectural improvements, and ensures the stability, security, and scalability of the organization’s infrastructure.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure with a focus on performance, resiliency, and security
- Lead lifecycle management and capacity planning across the organization
- Drive architectural standards and improvements, including infrastructure, hardware, and monitoring tools
- Provide 3rd‑tier support for Citrix, VPN, Terminal Services, and Hyper‑V
- Troubleshoot escalated issues from global IT teams
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
- Design and lead disaster recovery planning and testing
- Review and approve vendor invoices
- Support quality programs and perform additional duties as needed
- Travel as required
Must‑Haves
- Significant, hands‑on Citrix experience (core requirement)
- 8+ years of related infrastructure engineering experience
- 4+ years designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise systems
- Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux environments
- Strong virtualization experience (Hyper‑V, vSphere, Citrix, Terminal Services)
- Strong VPN troubleshooting/configuration skills (Cisco, Palo Alto, OpenVPN, IPSec)
- Deep understanding of security technologies (AV, Anti‑Spam, Anti‑Spyware)
- Strong networking knowledge (OSI layers, TCP/IP)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Horizon / Omnissa VDI experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Technical institute certifications
