MUST:

• 7 years of recent data science work
• 2 years of recent experience working on SLM’s
• Built SLM’s from scratch OR would take someone who has just done fine tuning of SLM’s with orchestration capabilities (need one or the other)
• Strong GenAI experience + SLM’s agentic ai, orchestration
• Experience developing end-to-end Generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs and foundational AI components
• Experience designing and implement scalable RAG workflows
• Developing complex queries and performs extensive programming to access, transform, and prepare data for statistical modeling.
• Fine tuned using LORA (method to fine tune SLM’s)
• STEM/Econ Masters Degree
• Has worked with Sagemaker or data bricks or similar tool
• Python is required

Our financial services client is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team working hybrid schedule. Develop and deploy Generative AI solutions using large language models (LLMs) and RAG architectures to support business initiatives. Analyze and transform complex datasets, build predictive and analytical models, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions while ensuring data quality and model performance. Design scalable analytics frameworks, mentor junior team members, and communicate key findings and recommendations to leadership.
