This position will work closely with product owners, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable technical solutions.

The Solutions Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, understanding how applications and databases interact, mapping data flows, and developing detailed functional and technical specifications that engineering teams can use to build solutions. The individual will participate in Agile delivery, troubleshoot application issues, support production systems, and collaborate with developers to ensure solutions meet business objectives. This is an opportunity to join a growing team with significant career advancement potential, including a path toward Solutions Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Translate complex or loosely defined business needs into detailed functional specifications and technical solutions for software engineering teams.
  • Work directly with product owners, software engineers, and internal development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze databases, SQL queries, APIs, integrations, and system architecture to understand application functionality and data movement.
  • Create system specifications, process flows, data flow diagrams, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Understand how data moves between applications, databases, and integrated systems.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technical solutions, identify dependencies, and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Support software testing, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
  • Investigate production issues, review support tickets, and coordinate resolution through JIRA or similar Agile delivery tools.
  • Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for automation, modernization, and operational improvements.
  • Communicate technical concepts, system requirements, and proposed solutions to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Support the development and implementation of modern web-based applications and enterprise technology platforms.
