Service Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to support our service operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating service requests, scheduling technicians, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of security system services for our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule service calls, maintenance visits, and installations for security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, etc.)
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding service requests and updates
  • Dispatch technicians and adjust schedules based on urgency and availability
  • Track service tickets from initiation through completion, ensuring timely resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, service history, and customer communications
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, and technical staff) to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and service documentation as needed
  • Proactively communicate delays, issues, or updates to clients and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a service coordination, dispatch, or administrative role (security industry experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with scheduling/dispatch software or CRM systems
  • Ability to prioritize and problem-solve effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting security systems such as CCTV, access control, or alarm systems
  • Familiarity with field service operations or technical service environments
