Day to Day:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, packaging components, and services.
• Manage international and domestic sourcing activities, including import coordination for bottles, caps, and related packaging materials.
• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to identify savings opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Oversee purchase order placement, logistics planning, and material scheduling to support production requirements and customer demand.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate pricing and contracts, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, product development, planning, and finance teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure product quality, reliability, compliance, and on-time delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes, improv inventory accuracy, and drive operational efficiency.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Evaluate and manage min/max inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points to maintain
optimal inventory performance.
• Manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs and supplier replenishment activities.
• Support freight coordination, import documentation, and communication with overseas suppliers and logistics partners as needed.
