Our client is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to support a growing portfolio of complex civil litigation matters, including mass tort and product liability cases. This role is suited for a seasoned litigator who can independently manage cases while collaborating with senior leadership on strategy, discovery, and motion practice.
The position offers the opportunity to work on high-value, nationally coordinated matters in a fast-paced litigation environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on litigation experience, and the ability to manage multiple cases while working closely with a broader litigation team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of complex civil litigation and mass tort matters from early case development through resolution
- Drafting and arguing substantive motions and preparing detailed legal briefs
- Leading written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, document requests, and requests for admission
- Conducting and defending depositions involving fact witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives
- Evaluating liability, causation, and damages across multiple cases to support litigation strategy
- Working closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategy, prepare for hearings, and support trial preparation
- Reviewing expert reports and coordinating with subject matter experts involved in the litigation
- Monitoring case deadlines, court filings, and procedural requirements across a high-volume docket
- Communicating with clients regarding case progress, legal strategy, and potential resolution options
- Collaborating with associates, paralegals, and litigation support staff to ensure cases move forward efficiently
