Role: Semantic Data Modeler — Power BI / Fabric (DAX)
Duration: 9 months – 1 year
Start: October 26th at the latest
Location: Remote USA, working EST (start is 8am EST)
Skills Needed:
- 8+ years of recent experience in semantic data modeling
- Expert-level experience designing, developing, and optimizing semantic data models
- Strong understanding of asset schema modeling
- Experience working on a similar project involving the migration of Power BI reporting into Microsoft Fabric (Direct Lake, OneLake)
- Expert-level experience with data transformation and migration
- Advanced DAX expertise, including complex measures, time intelligence, and performance tuning
- Expert-level experience with Tabular/semantic model design, including Power BI datasets, SSAS Tabular, or Fabric semantic models
- Expert-level experience with dimensional/star-schema modeling and conformed dimensions
- Proven experience consolidating conflicting or inconsistent metric definitions into a single, governed semantic model
- Hands-on experience with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and ALM Toolkit
- Exceptional communication skills and strong professional references available
