Salesforce Delivery Director

MUST:

  • 8-15 TOTAL years of working experience (need eager + flexible) 
  • 7+ years of experience in salesforce delivery 
  • 7 years minimum working for salesforce consulting firms 
  • 7+ years of experience managing and “owning” a salesforce delivery bench, must have practice management experience, can look at a pipeline and know what kind of resourcing is needed, must have strong bench management experience
  • NOT a salesforce PM 
  • Has both technical experience and delivery management experience within salesforce
  • Work independently + communicate well 
  • This person has to be able to write an SOW, read SOW’s
  • Ability and experience calculating bench costs 
  • Experience leading a team 
  • Salesforce experience across the main products: sales cloud, service cloud, and revenue cloud 
  • Holds salesforce certifications on SF cloud products 
  • Very strong business sense , manage customer expectations
  • Strong experience working with offshore developers (eastern European ideal) 

 

PLUS:

  • Has worked with Eastern Europeans before 
  • Certification in one or more Agile project methodologies is an advantage 

 

DAY TO DAY:

As Delivery Director for the Salesforce portfolio, you will establish and lead high-performing delivery teams responsible for implementing and supporting client solutions. This role oversees multiple concurrent engagements, ensuring successful onboarding, execution, and operational stability.

Key responsibilities include building and scaling teams, launching new projects, managing delivery ramp-up and transitions, optimizing resource allocation, maintaining financial accountability, and resolving complex delivery or client issues when they arise

You will collaborate closely with distributed engineering groups, strategic partners, and client leadership to align delivery efforts with business priorities. A strong ability to translate client challenges into actionable delivery plans is essential.

  • Global Portfolio Leadership: Overseeing a multi-million-dollar annual revenue portfolio, delivering Salesforce solutions across industries such as healthcare, retail, travel, and manufacturing in the US and EMEA
  • Strategic Growth: Driving account expansion through up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fiscal targets.
  • Team Empowerment: Leading and mentoring diverse teams of 130+ Salesforce professionals across 8 countries, fostering collaboration, talent development, and a culture of inclusion.
  • Client Engagement: Partnering closely with clients to design and implement tailored Salesforce solutions, ensuring exceptional outcomes and long-term relationships.
  • Technical Leadership: Staying at the forefront of Salesforce innovations to provide architectural guidance and support complex implementations, delivering scalable and future-ready solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Managing P&L, optimizing delivery processes, and mitigating risks to achieve client satisfaction and profitable project outcomes.
