Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of project management experience, or Associate’s degree with 9+ years of project management experience
- Strong background managing large-scale commercial construction, electrical utility, or power systems projects
- Experience with project estimating, project controls, and project engineering
- Advanced project management knowledge in areas such as construction safety, contract negotiations, scope development and change control, cost estimating, construction contracting, scheduling, reporting, quality assurance, and risk management
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification
- Experience supporting transmission-related projects
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage assigned projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to established safety standards and procedures
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate project plans, schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource needs
- Monitor project costs and proactively adjust funding allocations as needed
- Provide regular status updates and communicate project details to leadership and stakeholders
- Facilitate planning meetings, outage coordination meetings, and executive-level presentations
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, operations staff, contractors, vendors, and external partners
- Drive collaboration, customer satisfaction, and successful project delivery
- Offer guidance to improve processes, systems, schedules, and cost efficiency
- Provide informed leadership and challenge decisions when necessary to support project success
- Supervise up to two team members, including performance management and professional development planning
- Mentor junior project managers and support team growth
