DAY TO DAY:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance professional to own and improve our Oracle environment. This is a hands-on role focused less on day-to-day support and more on optimizing the platform, challenging the current design, and building a roadmap for where Oracle should go next.
Day to day, you’ll spend approximately 10–25% supporting tickets and Oracle maintenance, with the remainder focused on design, testing, optimization, and working directly with Finance and Accounting teams. You’ll meet with accountants to understand how they use Oracle today, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and determine how we can get more value from the system.
You’ll primarily work across Oracle Fusion AP, GL, and Procurement, with AP being the most heavily used module. The environment has been in place for several years, including a previous re-implementation, and we’re looking for someone who can question the existing build, identify what can be improved, and create a practical roadmap for optimization.
The role also has a strong data component. Our Finance technology organization is expanding into data and data engineering, and you’ll help evaluate how financial data flows from Oracle into the broader ecosystem, with a focus on improving data quality at the source. You’ll also manage two offshore resources and an external Oracle consulting relationship. We’re looking for someone with 5+ years of Oracle Fusion experience who has a track record of testing, improving, and optimizing Oracle environments. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, asks “why,” and enjoys taking an existing system and finding ways to make it work better.
This is an opportunity to truly own and shape an Oracle Fusion Finance environment—not just maintain it.
