The Operations Manager will oversee all field operations for Gulf Coast Pavers’ largest market in Houston, ensuring the successful execution of hardscape installation projects with a focus on safety, profitability, and industry-leading craftsmanship. This leader will manage 30–35 team members, including Operations Supervisors and General Foremen, and will take full ownership of project performance. Core responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting project drawings, specifications, and proposals; staying current on contract document revisions; managing and mentoring crews and subcontractors; overseeing job cost reviews; forecasting regional revenue; verifying and approving expenditures and crew incentives; and maintaining accurate project documentation and monthly billing. The Operations Manager will also build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure accurate start dates, project readiness, material availability, and timely deliveries. Additional duties include schedule oversight, supporting the GM with P&L responsibilities in labor efficiency and materials management, and participating in strategic planning to increase profitability and operational effectiveness. This role is primarily field-based across Houston and surrounding areas, with occasional regional travel. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays or rare Sundays as needed.
