Contract OEE Engineer — Fort Worth, TX

Upgrading Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) system across its Fort Worth packaging operation, and is bringing on a contract engineer to lead the on-the-ground PLC and HMI work that makes it happen. This is a hands-on, onsite role for someone who's comfortable working directly on the plant floor, modifying live PLC code, and commissioning changes across a large multi-line environment.

Day to day, the engineer will be working through a rollout that spans 31 assets across four packaging cells (Lines A, B, C, D, G, H, and VISCO). That means:

• Writing and modifying ControlLogix PLC code (.ACD/.L5X files) to build out OEE User Defined Types — capturing counts, machine state, run mode, and downtime tag mapping so the data flows correctly into the OEE system
• Updating Allen Bradley PanelView/PanelView Plus HMIs (.MER/.APA files) to reflect the new tags and functionality operators will see on the line
• Physically deploying that code onsite — downloading it to the PLCs, commissioning the changes, and verifying everything is talking correctly
• Confirming OEE data is landing properly in the Ignition system and Sepasoft OEE module — this is the integration layer collecting data across all 31 assets, so troubleshooting communication between the PLC layer and Ignition will be a regular part of the work
• Coordinating deployment timing with production — this isn't a role where you push code whenever you want. Changes need to happen around planned downtime, and there will be times you're called on to implement over a weekend if a line unexpectedly goes down and there's a window to get in
