Network Security Architect – AWS Migration

Job Description

Supports a major migration of applications and workloads into AWS by defining, designing, and implementing cloud network security controls. Partners with application, infrastructure, and security teams to translate requirements into secure architectures, validate firewall and connectivity needs, and ensure compliant, well‑designed cloud network environments.

Must‑Haves

• Strong AWS public cloud experience
• Expertise in network security design and implementation
• Background in infrastructure and architecture
• Information security experience with familiarity across technology risk domains
• Ability to translate application connectivity needs into firewall rules and network security policies
• Knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, subnets, route tables, TGWs)
• Experience with firewalls and cloud security controls (Palo Alto, Security Groups, NACLs)
• Strong communication skills for documenting and presenting technical designs

Plusses

• AWS certifications (Security Specialty, Solutions Architect)
• Experience with enterprise firewall policy management or automation
• Background in highly regulated or financial services environments
• Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps teams
