Mobile Engineer – Commercial HVAC Focussed
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer / HVAC Technician to maintain and troubleshoot commercial HVAC and building systems across a portfolio of approximately 40–50 sites.
This is primarily an HVAC-focused position, but candidates should be comfortable handling basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance as needed. Sites are visited at varying frequencies, so you will not be servicing all 40–50 locations each month.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems
- Work on approximately 5–50 ton HVAC equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders
- Handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs
- Inspect facility equipment and identify needed repairs
- Document work and update work orders in CMMS/Corrigo
- Travel between assigned customer sites
- Participate in call-in/on-call work as required
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of building maintenance/HVAC experience
- Strong commercial HVAC/R troubleshooting and repair experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Experience with approximately 5–50 ton equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred
- Commercial facilities/building engineering background
- CMMS/Corrigo experience
- Trade school or apprenticeship in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical
- Commercial refrigeration experience
