Junior Cybersecurity Analyst – Oracle ERP Security
Overview
We are seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions within an Oracle ERP environment. This role will focus on role-based access controls (RBAC), ensuring users have appropriate access to applications and data while maintaining compliance with enterprise security standards. Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of role-based security models within Oracle ERP.
- Configure and maintain user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure secure access to applications and data.
- Assist with securing enterprise systems by following cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
- Monitor and support the security of network and enterprise environments, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and security testing to identify and remediate potential security risks.
- Assist with implementing security patches and system updates to address vulnerabilities.
- Respond to security incidents, assist with investigations, and contribute to post-incident analysis.
- Partner with IT, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure security requirements are incorporated into system implementations.
- Maintain documentation related to security roles, processes, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 0–1+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, identity and access management, or a related field (internship experience is acceptable).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, access management, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with network security concepts including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Oracle ERP security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), or Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Experience with security assessments, vulnerability scanning, or risk analysis.
- Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
- Relevant coursework, internships, or certifications (Security+, ISC2 CC, or similar) are a plus.
