The Role
The Pathfinder Team is our elite group of field-deployed engineers — each with previous founding experience, fanatical customer obsession, and a proven track record of winning in uncharted territory.
You'll be embedded with operators running $100M+ businesses to understand their workflows and deploy AI systems that unlock revenue-critical outcomes. You'll prototype quickly, integrate deeply, and ship solutions that directly shape the future of the platform. This is a field role — onsite, on calls, in Slack threads, working hand-in-hand with customers to turn messy real-world processes into scalable AI-powered systems.
What You'll Do
- Spend 2+ weeks per month onsite with customers across North America applying AI to real-world businesses
- Own customer interactions, collaborating with executives and the GTM team to ensure customer delight and grow enterprise deals
- Partner with large customers to design and deliver end-to-end solutions embedding AI agents into core systems like Salesforce, ServiceTitan, i360, and LeadPerfection
- Quarterback technical delivery from scoping and onboarding through stable usage and expansion
- Translate field insights into platform improvements, new products, and scalable internal tools
- Communicate directly with the founding team and contribute to the product roadmap
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience shipping products at a startup or high-velocity company
- Top-tier education in a rigorous academic environment and/or experience at high-performing SaaS or AI companies — advanced degrees a plus
- Customer-obsessed and eager to be in the field, as close to the product as possible
- An ambitious builder who wants to create something generational
- A continuous learner comfortable in ambiguity — you ship, learn, and adapt
- Fluent in Python and SQL, comfortable with REST APIs, and able to move up the stack when needed (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
- Skilled at testing and debugging APIs with tools like Postman and tracing issues through logs
- Bonus: experience building with LLM frameworks like LangChain
