Finance Operation Analyst

The Finance & Operations Analyst will work within the business to help leadership understand how these venues perform financially and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue, and profitability. The venue includes apartments, hotel, and restaurant. As the FP&A Director’s first direct report, this analyst will partner closely with the Food & Beverage Director, HR team, Controller, and venue leaders to turn financial and operational data into practical recommendations.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include evaluating labor costs, cost of goods sold (COGS), pricing, and revenue trends; comparing results against budget and prior-year performance; and identifying the factors driving changes in profitability. The analyst will assess average spending and contribution margin per guest, evaluate the costs associated with serving pool attendees, or calculate the pricing needed for menu items and offerings to cover costs and achieve target margins. The analyst will also support budgeting, financial modeling, and bottom-up forecasting, building revenue and expense projections from operating assumptions such as guest volume, average spend, hotel occupancy, staffing levels, and seasonality. Using analytical tools, dashboards, and KPIs, this person will help operators make timely decisions about staffing, pricing, purchasing, and cost control. The role will also improve reporting automation, data accuracy, and financial systems, with a focus on providing clear, actionable insights that support daily operations and long-term business performance.
