Digital Product Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic Digital team focused on a defined Ecommerce product domain across web and app platforms (e.g., cart, checkout). This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in Ecommerce product delivery, digital customer experience, and data driven decision making, to drive domain specific product initiatives and ensure our products meet the needs of our customers. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record of working on digital transformation projects, particularly those involving the migration from on-premises to cloud environments using microservices architecture.

This role is part of a broader Ecommerce Product team, where multiple Product Owners partner to deliver end-to-end customer journeys, each owning specific capability areas.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the product development lifecycle for a defined set of Ecommerce capabilities, from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Oversee the discovery, definition, and prioritization of product features and enhancements, leveraging data-driven insights and user feedback.
  • Own and manage the product backlog for your domain, ensuring clear prioritization based on business value, customer impact, and dependencies.
  • Partner closely with other Ecommerce Product Owners to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences across domains.
  • Manage the transition of digital products from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions utilizing microservices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, and marketing to deliver high-quality products.
  • Ensure that all digital products meet security, performance, and scalability standards.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate with business product partners on product vision and strategy and transform the vision into a viable technical execution to drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
  • Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Turns data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer.
  • Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
  • Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology
  • Defines and executes go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
