Customer Solutions Representative (Grizzly)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Order Desk
  • Create a positive and consistent customer service experience.
  • Accurately capture all information (required or additional) pertaining to a complete order.
  • Strong communication with the customer in the event of back orders. This includes tracking orders through its entirety.
  • Determine if additional items can be added to the order based on the current order contents.
  • Effective communication and hand-off to the Purchasing team for action needed from them.
  • Work directly with the Warehouse members, setting daily and weekly delivery calendar and identifying inventory discrepancies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through appropriate channels in the operation. 
  • Familiarize yourself with item numbers and codes by gaining a thorough understanding of warehouse inventory, including the purpose and application of each item.
  • Establish formal and informal communications with other team members and keeping Management aware of potential challenges with customer orders (shortages, missed delivery etc).

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical school certificate or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Great working knowledge of tools and equipment used in the construction industry.
  • Working knowledge of building materials, and consumables.
  • Demonstrate a self-starter attitude and strong self-motivation; take initiative to seek out answers independently when information is not readily available.
  • Able to work with very minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications – Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record based upon company policy.
  • Strong communication skills electronically, by phone and in-person.
