Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced CRM Product Manager to help lead the continued development of CRM functionality within its proprietary platform.
Client: $1B+ national pavement services company operating across 30+ branches. The company is moving away from Salesforce and building the CRM capabilities needed by its Sales organization directly into its proprietary platform.
The National Accounts team currently operates in Salesforce. This person will work closely with Sales and CRM leadership to understand current workflows and functionality, identify gaps, and ensure the necessary capabilities are built into PavementSoft before the team migrates off Salesforce.
This is a true CRM Product role, not a Salesforce administration role. The ideal candidate understands how CRM systems should function, how Sales teams use them, how CRM data flows across systems, and how to translate business needs into requirements for Design and Engineering.
Must-Haves
- 10+ years of overall Product Management experience, with 4–5+ recent years focused on CRM Product Management
- Strong understanding of CRM products, functionality and architecture
- Experience with a major CRM platform such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or similar
- Experience owning or helping build CRM functionality/capabilities, ideally within a proprietary or internally developed platform
- Strong understanding of CRM data, data flows, integrations and customer/account data
- Experience working directly with Sales teams and CRM leadership to gather and clarify business requirements
- Ability to translate Sales/business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, workflows and specifications for Design and Engineering
- Hands-on experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs and priorities
- Strong Jira and Agile experience
- Ability to create basic wireframes, diagrams, or workflows to communicate functionality to UI/UX and Engineering
- Experience supporting CRM functionality at enterprise scale
- Experience with AI tools and/or AI functionality within CRM or Sales workflows
- Strong understanding of prioritization and ability to push back when requests do not align with business priorities
- Strong ownership mentality; motivated, determined, and comfortable driving initiatives forward
- Able to bring a strong product point of view while working collaboratively and without ego

- Support the development of unified CRM data across accounts, properties, contacts and Sales ownership
- Help drive automated customer/Sales journeys and future mobile CRM capabilities
