Chief of Staff to the CEO
A fast-growing, venture-backed technology company is hiring its first Chief of Staff to support the CEO in driving organizational focus, culture, and execution. This hybrid role is based in New York City (~3 days/week in office).
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the CEO to set and manage goals, priorities, and key initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure teams stay aligned and unblocked.
- Support stakeholder management across customers, investors, and internal leaders.
- Draft high-quality communication on behalf of the CEO.
- Improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and manage recurring workflows (board prep, off-sites, conference planning, etc.)
- Provide scheduling and travel support as needed (≤20% of the role).

- Strong EQ, sound judgment, and the ability to influence without authority.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to create structure in a fast-moving environment.
- Direct, concise communicator who can synthesize complex information.
- Comfortable managing up and operating with ambiguity.
- Detail-obsessed and reliable—nothing falls through the cracks.
- Bonus: MBA, consulting experience, or early-stage startup experience.
