The Capital Sourcing Specialist supports procurement and supply chain initiatives by analyzing spend data, sourcing materials and services, and partnering with engineering and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities. This role focuses on supplier management, sourcing execution, contract support, and ensuring materials are available to support ongoing projects and operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and experienced working within asset-intensive industries. 

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend, supplier, and market data to identify sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.  
• Partner with engineering, operations, and other cross-functional teams to source materials and services that support capital projects and day-to-day operations.  
• Execute sourcing events, including obtaining supplier quotes, managing RFPs/RFQs, evaluating bids, and supporting contract negotiations.  
• Build and maintain supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance, service levels, and contract compliance.  
• Support procurement planning by tracking vendor performance, market trends, and sourcing metrics.  
• Assist with supplier onboarding, contract administration, and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.  
• Utilize ERP and procurement systems to manage purchasing activities, supplier information, and reporting.
