Job Description :

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise AutoCAD drawings: floor plans, device layouts, riser diagrams, and as-builts

• Assist in developing cost estimates and project takeoffs using Excel and estimating tools

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including sales, engineers, and project managers

• Track project progress, maintain drawing revisions, and ensure alignment with job specifications

• Help develop and standardize workflows for CAD and estimating deliverables as the team scales

 

Leadership Track

• Initially focused on learning the full scope of our project lifecycle and hands-on work

• Growth into lead responsibilities: delegating tasks, reviewing work, and managing team workflows

• Future involvement in building the team, which may be based locally in Phoenix or distributed remotely

• This is a foundational role within our growing national engineering support group

 

Required Skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD

• Advanced Excel skills; comfortable with Word and Outlook

• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities

• Effective cross-functional communicator

 

Job Details

• Full-time role based in our Phoenix, Arizona office

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Phoenix time)

• Starts as a hands-on role with structured mentorship, then evolves into team leadership based on performance
