Role Overview
We are seeking a BI Analyst / Analytics Engineer who can work across both business intelligence/reporting and hands-on data analytics. This person will work heavily with corporate finance and operational data, building Power BI reporting while also digging into large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable business insights.
The ideal candidate is comfortable owning both sides of the role: developing polished dashboards and visualizations for business stakeholders while also performing the underlying analysis and data investigation needed to understand what the data is telling us.
Required Qualifications
- 4–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related analytical role
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong experience working with corporate finance and operational data, such as contract renewals, sales/revenue data, pricing, or unit price analysis
- Expert-level Power BI experience, including building reports, dashboards, and visualizations
- Strong SQL proficiency, including experience writing complex queries against relational databases
- Strong data analytics and investigative skills, with the ability to work through large and complex datasets, identify anomalies and trends, determine areas requiring further investigation, and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the data
- Experience working across both data visualization/BI and analytics engineering
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling, with the ability to support ad hoc and cross-functional reporting needs
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business impact through data and analytics
Preferred Qualifications

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The BI Analyst / Analytics Engineer will build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations in Power BI, including developing new reporting and visualizations to support unit price analysis.
The role will also support and enhance existing reporting used by Sales and Customer teams to monitor past-due and upcoming contract renewals.
Beyond dashboard development, this person will work directly with large corporate datasets to investigate trends and anomalies, structure and analyze data, and partner with stakeholders across the organization to translate data into meaningful business insights.
For example, one of the visualizations you will work on will be for unit price analysis. We will need this person to do the work before the visualizations in this instance and look into what is this data, how do we make sense of it. Then build the visualizations in PowerBI from there. You will also support one of our team members in maintaining one existing visualization used by sales and customer team which looks at past due and upcoming contract renewals.
The role goes beyond visualization development and focuses heavily on understanding and analyzing the underlying data—identifying what the data represents, determining how to make sense of it, investigating anomalies or unexpected results, and identifying the right questions and stakeholders needed to validate findings. The BI Analyst analyzes large and complex corporate datasets to uncover meaningful insights and support business deliverables, with a strong focus on financial and operational data. The role combines two core areas of responsibility: building effective, business-focused visualizations and performing hands-on data analysis and analytics engineering. The ideal candidate brings expert-level Power BI skills, advanced SQL capabilities, and a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
