Desktop Support Technician (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: New Hope, PA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)

About the Role
The Desktop Support Technician will provide day-to-day technical support to employees through a combination of hands-on deskside support and remote assistance. This role is responsible for troubleshooting Windows and Mac hardware and software issues, deploying and configuring new equipment, supporting employee onboarding and offboarding, and resolving technical issues involving laptops, desktops, monitors, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals. You'll work closely with end users to ensure timely issue resolution while helping maintain reliable IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide deskside and remote technical support for end users
- Troubleshoot Windows and Mac hardware and software issues
- Diagnose and resolve problems with laptops, desktops, monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, and other peripherals
- Configure, image, deploy, and replace computers and IT equipment
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing and decommissioning devices and user accounts
- Install, configure, and update hardware and software
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members as needed
- Document support requests, resolutions, and recurring issues
- Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting daily IT operations
- Assist with general IT support and technology initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 6 months to 1+ year of hands-on desktop/deskside support experience
- Experience troubleshooting Windows and/or Mac operating systems
- Basic hardware troubleshooting experience with laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution
