We are hiring a Chief Revenue Officer to own the full revenue engine of a venture-backed pharmacy commerce platform that processes billions in annual GMV. The company builds the checkout, payment, invoicing, and fulfillment-coordination layer used by retail, specialty, mail-order, and compounding pharmacies, patient support hubs, and pharma manufacturers running direct-to-patient programs. It integrates natively with the major pharmacy management systems and carries HIPAA, PCI Level 1, and DEA controlled-substance compliance inside the platform.
The pharmacy side of the business is established and growing. The next phase is enterprise: selling into hubs, specialty pharmacies, and pharma manufacturers and their brand teams, where deal sizes are larger, cycles are longer, and the buyer expects a seller who already speaks the language of patient access, copay programs, and specialty distribution.
This is a player-coach executive role reporting to the CEO. You will sit above an existing Director of Sales and a team of Account Executives who are producing today. Your job is to carry the enterprise and manufacturer book personally, build the hub and pharma go-to-market from the ground up, and scale the team, process, and forecast underneath you. You will be the most senior commercial voice in the company and a member of the executive team.
What you will do
- Own company revenue: new bookings, expansion, retention, and the forecast, with direct accountability to the CEO and board
- Build and personally run the enterprise motion into patient support hubs, specialty pharmacies, and pharma manufacturers (brand teams, patient services, market access, and commercial operations)
- Open and close the first wave of hub and manufacturer accounts yourself, then codify what works into a repeatable playbook for the team
- Lead, coach, and scale the existing Director of Sales and Account Executive team; set territory, quota, comp, and pipeline standards
- Define the enterprise sales process end to end: ICP, qualification, deal stages, security and compliance reviews, procurement, MSA and BAA negotiation, and implementation handoff
- Partner with Product on the roadmap for hub and manufacturer use cases: copay program payments, direct-to-patient checkout, HSA/FSA, specialty fulfillment, and reporting
- Build the channel and partnership motion with pharmacy management systems, digital health platforms, and marketplaces that embed the platform
- Stand up revenue operations: CRM hygiene, pipeline reporting, win/loss analysis, and board-level metrics
- Represent the company at industry events and with key accounts (Asembia, NASP, NCPA, CBI patient services conferences) and build a personal network at the VP and C-level inside target accounts
- Hire ahead of the plan: enterprise AEs, customer success, and sales engineering as the enterprise book grows
