Must Haves: 

• 3–5 years+ experience as Project Manager
• Experience managing IT/IS-related projects with demonstrated project delivery success
• Experience implementing and supporting manufacturing systems (ERP/MRP – QAD preferred)
• Strong SharePoint Experience
• Familiarity with Smart Sheets
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
• Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority

Plusses: 

• PMP or related certification preferred
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred (or similar – supply chain, manufacturing, operations)

Day to Day:

My client is hiring for a project manager to work onsite. This position is a 6 month contract to hire. This person is responsible for leading cross‑functional teams, defining project scope, developing timelines, and ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery of complex initiatives. Oversees project planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and performance tracking. Drives alignment between business goals and project execution while maintaining high standards of quality, transparency, and accountability. Skilled in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, vendor coordination, and continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of IS and manufacturing system projects
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resource needs, and success criteria
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and drive timely resolution
• Communicate project status, decisions, and impacts to stakeholders and leadership
• Coordinate and align cross‑functional resources to achieve project goals
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking
• Oversee vendor and customer relationships related to project activities
• Ensure project documentation, governance, and compliance with IS/IT standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
