We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Analyst to support software testing and quality-control activities. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone with foundational knowledge of software testing who is comfortable learning established processes and working closely with senior team members.

Must Haves

• College degree or equivalent education
• Up to one year of QA, software testing, or related experience; recent graduates may be considered
• Foundational understanding of software quality-assurance principles
• Ability to create, execute, and document test cases and test scripts
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to follow established processes and seek guidance when needed
• Comfortable receiving regular feedback and detailed review of completed work

Plusses

• User acceptance testing, alpha testing, or beta testing experience
• Experience creating test data for positive and negative scenarios
• Familiarity with defect-tracking or test-management tools
• Web or enterprise-application testing experience
• Exposure to Agile or software-development lifecycle processes

Day to Day

• Conduct quality-control tests to ensure software meets established standards and user requirements
• Draft and update test plans, test cases, and testing scripts
• Create valid and invalid test data to verify program logic and system workflows
• Coordinate with users to support UAT, alpha, and beta testing
• Document test results, defects, and issue resolutions
• Confirm system testing is completed successfully before release
• Follow established QA policies, standards, and procedures
• Identify and recommend improvements to testing processes
• Complete routine assignments with guidance from senior team members
• Communicate progress, questions, and feedback to supervisors and project leads
