Must Haves
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with Mocha or similar test runners
- Hands‑on experience with UI test automation, including Playwright
- Experience testing MQTT or similar Pub/Sub interfaces (WebSockets, SSE, etc.)
- Experience testing GraphQL APIs, including writing and maintaining tests for complex queries
- Working knowledge of cloud environments and containerized deployments (Docker, container registries)
- Working knowledge of Git and Git‑based workflows, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Experience analyzing and correlating application/service logs across distributed systems
- Experience using Jira or similar tools for task and issue tracking
- Familiarity with Android test automation (Appium or similar)

Day‑to‑Day
You’ll design, build, and maintain automated tests across multiple services, ensuring coverage for functional use cases and new feature development. You’ll lead test scenario creation, collaborate closely with engineering teams to triage bugs, and investigate failures across various environments. You’ll monitor and maintain test pipelines, leveraging observability tools and logs to identify and resolve issues. You’ll clearly communicate defects, drive discussions that accelerate issue resolution, and incorporate cutting‑edge AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and delivery velocity.
