Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Must-Haves

• Strong experience with manual software testing and quality assurance
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Knowledge of functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Experience creating positive and negative test data
• Strong defect tracking, documentation, and resolution follow-up skills
• Ability to coordinate testing with business users and technical teams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Plusses

• Experience leading UAT, alpha, or beta testing
• Experience developing QA policies, standards, and procedures
• Familiarity with automated testing tools
• Experience improving enterprise testing strategies and processes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Day-to-Day

• Perform quality control testing to ensure software meets technical and end-user requirements
• Draft, revise, and approve test plans, scripts, and testing documentation
• Create valid and invalid test data to verify system logic and workflows
• Coordinate UAT, alpha, and beta testing with users and stakeholders
• Document defects and ensure issues are resolved before release
• Maintain QA policies, procedures, and testing standards
• Recommend and implement improvements to the overall software testing strategy
