About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and curious Apple Platforms UI Automation Engineer to join our DevOps pipeline automation team. We build and maintain native XCTest-based automation frameworks, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, and own the full lifecycle of automated testing across iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS.

What You'll Do

·        Write, maintain, and scale XCTest-based UI automation test cases across a video streaming application for iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS.

·        Add Accessibility Identifiers and collaborate with feature teams to ensure thorough test coverage.

·        Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (nightly, feature, and performance runs).

·        Perform smoke, regression, performance, API, and real-device testing on AWS Device Farm.

·        Automate critical user flows: force upgrade, StoreKit purchase flows, video playback, deep links, and more.

·        Use Proxyman and Charles Proxy to intercept and mock network calls for reliable test scenarios.

·        File detailed bug reports and collaborate with development teams to drive resolution.

·        Contribute to AI-powered testing initiatives including LLM-assisted test generation and self-healing automation.

Required

·        3+ years of experience in Apple platform automation engineering.

·        Strong proficiency in Swift for test development.

·        Hands-on experience with XCTest and Xcode for writing and running UI automation tests.

·        Experience integrating test pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD systems.

·        Solid understanding of StoreKit and experience testing purchase flows end-to-end.

·        Experience testing deep links across iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS.

·        Familiarity with network proxying tools such as Proxyman or Charles Proxy for API inspection and mock data creation.

·        Experience with AWS Device Farm or similar real-device cloud testing platforms.

·        Strong debugging skills — ability to identify flaky tests, diagnose failures, and maintain stable pipelines.

·        Excellent collaboration skills and a growth mindset.
