Associate Systems Administrator

MUST:

  • 6 months-1 years of experience in hands on deskside/desktop support
  • Knows basic hardware troubleshooting, knows what steps to take in troubleshooting things like: mac, windows, mouses
  • Proactive communication
  • Good with troubleshooting windows and macs both IDEAL, would consider someone with just one
  • Bachelor's Degree

 

DAY TO DAY:

Our client is seeking an Associate System Admin to join their team. This person provides day-to-day deskside and remote technical support for end users, with approximately 60% of work focused on hands-on deskside support and 40% on remote assistance. Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues across Windows and Mac environments, including basic diagnostics and support for laptops, desktops, peripherals, and input devices such as mice and keyboards. Supports employee onboarding and offboarding activities by configuring, deploying, and decommissioning equipment and user accounts. Performs routine troubleshooting, escalates complex issues when necessary, and ensures timely resolution of technical problems while maintaining a high level of customer service. Utilizes foundational knowledge of hardware and operating systems to identify issues, implement solutions, and support daily IT operations.
