Territory Manager

 

TERRITORY MANAGER – DENVER, CO

 

Location: Greater Denver Area (Hybrid Territory Role)

Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Bonus + Full Benefits + Mileage Reimbursement

Travel: Territory travel throughout Colorado with occasional travel to Salt Lake City and Albuquerque

 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a national leader in stormwater retention and water management solutions. They are seeking a Territory Manager to support and grow business throughout the Denver market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer, Land Development Engineer, Water Resources Engineer, Environmental Engineer, or Project Engineer who enjoys working with people and is interested in transitioning into a more client-facing role while still leveraging their technical expertise.

The ideal candidate is someone early in their engineering career who enjoys relationship building, problem solving, and working directly with developers, municipalities, contractors, and consulting engineers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain relationships with civil engineers, developers, municipalities, contractors, and construction professionals throughout the territory

• Conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, and educational meetings on stormwater retention solutions

• Provide specification support and consultative design assistance during project development

• Work with engineering firms to help incorporate solutions into project specifications

• Coordinate quotations, project opportunities, and ongoing customer support

• Partner with clients from project conception through construction

• Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline activity and customer relationships

• Travel throughout the Denver territory meeting with customers and industry partners

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related technical discipline

• 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering, land development, stormwater, water resources, environmental engineering, construction, utilities, infrastructure, or related fields

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to build relationships with clients and industry partners

• Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the territory

• Comfortable working from a home office environment

 

Preferred:

• EIT or PE certification

• Experience with stormwater management, drainage, erosion control, land development, utilities, environmental compliance, or water resources

• Experience working with municipalities, developers, engineering consultants, or contractors

• Technical sales, business development, or client-facing experience

• Salesforce or CRM experience
