Pallet Repair Technician

Day to Day:

  • Work at a repair table where automated conveyors bring damaged pallets directly to your station
  • Use pneumatic nail guns, pry bars, hammers, powered saws, and other hand tools throughout the shift
  • Remove broken or defective boards from wooden pallets
  • Cut, replace, and secure new boards and blocks onto pallets
  • Flip pallets over, inspect for quality, and ensure they meet standards
  • Push repaired pallets back onto the conveyor line
  • Work in a production-driven environment repairing pallets continuously throughout the shift
  • Production goal of approximately 244 pallets per day after training period
  • Pallets weigh approximately 70-75 lbs.
  • Typically takes 5-6 weeks to ramp up to production expectations
