Project Engineers

This role offers broad exposure to the full construction process, with real responsibility and mentorship designed to help you grow. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do Project Planning & Coordination

  • Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with day‑to‑day project coordination and execution
  • Help develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating work across subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams
  • Participate in constructability reviews and site logistics planning to identify challenges early
  • Serve as a communication link between the field, designers, owners, and internal teams
  • Track progress, documentation, and coordination items using project management software

Field Support, Quality & Safety

  • Assist with reviewing work to ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for accuracy and completeness
  • Support layout verification and on‑site coordination to resolve design or installation conflicts
  • Participate in safety meetings, audits, and pre‑installation reviews
  • Help track inspections, testing, and quality documentation

Cost & Documentation

  • Assist with identifying, documenting, and tracking scope and cost changes
  • Maintain accurate project records, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, logs, and field reports
  • Support purchase order and change documentation
  • Participate in monthly project reviews and audits

Collaboration & Relationships

  • Build strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
  • Communicate clearly and proactively to keep teams aligned and issues moving toward resolution
  • Contribute to a jobsite culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and professionalism
  • Represent with integrity on‑site and within the industry

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of construction experience with a general contractor (internship or full‑time)
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • A proactive, team‑oriented mindset and interest in building a long‑term career
