MUST:

• 4-8 years of experience in operations within one of the following: financial futures company, derivatives company, trading firms, or crypto company
• Does have some experience in crypto
• Not too senior of a person + can learn fast + can ask questions , not a manager this role is hands on
• Experience with the controls associated to wiring large sums of money
• Strong experience with reconciliations within trading (i.e. Has been an operations specialist with a focus on balancing reconciliations)
• Previous experience supporting fixed income, currencies, crypto or commodities products.
• Experience with journaling, ledger entries, bookings, and deposits
• Worked with the back office of a trading firm to resolve issues, and worked with hedge funds/financial services firms like Citadel or Fidelity
• bachelors degree – business, accounting ,finance, econ
• comfortable with a fast paced environment and working in a start up and being flexible
• decent English communication for client presentations, it’s a global client base

PLUS:

• Experience with futures, futures options, and/or OTC products preferred.

DAY TO DAY:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing crypto currency financial services firm in Singapore. The firm is expanding a ton and is currently building out the clearing operations team, and seeking an Operations specialist to come aboard. We already built our clearing house system, and this team is focused don monitoring the trades coming into that clearing system. As a key member of this team and company you will provide operational support for their trade settlement, digital asset and fiat custody, clearing, settlement, deposits, and withdrawals. As a member of this team you will also look at the exposure screen and look into the amount paid and the amount received and the assets, and determine the risk on the portfolio. You will also spend time in the company’s banking portfolio checking for deposits and journaling those into their system.

This team deals with the clients and clearing members, works on journal transaction, takes deposits in, and manage withdrawals. You will speak to entities like Fidelity and Citadel on a daily basis and work with the back office teams to resolve their issues. This team works with trade flows, client accounts, and this person will help write policies and procedures for this group. We currently have a Chief Risk Officer and one other Operations Specialist on this team that you will collaborate with and work along side.
