Our client, a healthcare organization, is seeking a contractor to provide Cloud Systems Administration services supporting its Azure-based infrastructure. This is a junior to mid-level technical role requiring hands-on experience with cloud operations, systems administration, and infrastructure support. The contractor will work under the direction of the Cloud Operations team to maintain platform stability, perform operational tasks, and support day-to-day cloud infrastructure needs. You will join a team consisting of 3 groups: a NOC team, a Monitorin Team, and the Cloud Ops team which is where this role will be. 

• Maintain and support Windows and Linux virtual machines hosted in Microsoft Azure

• Perform operational tasks including patch validation, user access provisioning, backup verification, and system health monitoring

• Monitor Azure-native monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerts; escalate issues according to established procedures

• Execute provisioning and configuration tasks following documented runbooks and standard operating procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation, ticket notes, and knowledge base articles

• Implement access control changes and configuration updates with proper approval and change management

• Participate in incident response activities and contribute to on-call rotation schedules as needed

• Collaborate with internal teams during knowledge-sharing sessions and operational reviews
