Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Specialist to support landfill gas and air compliance efforts across a portfolio of 40+ active projects throughout the Western U.S. This is a fully remote role with strong growth potential and exposure to large-scale environmental programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support landfill gas (LFG) and air compliance activities across multiple sites
• Assist with regulatory reporting, data analysis, and documentation
• Prepare permits, compliance reports, and maintain records
• Track deadlines and deliverables across a high-volume project portfolio
• Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory adherence

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant environmental compliance experience (landfill gas required)
• Working knowledge of air quality regulations (Clean Air Act, NSPS, Title V)
• Experience supporting landfill gas systems or solid waste industry
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
