This Collections Analyst role is responsible for managing a portfolio of past-due commercial accounts and driving timely payments through proactive outbound communication and account resolution efforts. The position focuses on B2B collections within a high-volume, manual environment where attention to detail, urgency, and strong follow-up are critical. Analysts will work within the full order-to-cash cycle, partnering with billing, cash application, and credit teams to resolve discrepancies and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO). The role requires consistent outreach via phone and email, maintaining detailed account notes, and prioritizing delinquent accounts based on risk and aging. Success in this position depends on strong Excel skills, the ability to work through ERP systems, and a disciplined, assertive approach to managing a portfolio of $3–5M in receivables while meeting daily activity and performance KPIs.
