Data Engineer

Overview

We’re looking for a Data Engineer who enjoys working with modern data integration frameworks, big data technologies, and cloud platforms. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines and models that support advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong Python/SQL skills, experience with cloud data solutions, and a passion for designing systems that drive meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, streaming‑ready data integration frameworks
• Build and maintain data pipelines, models, and applications using tools such as PySpark, Kubernetes, Airflow, Snowflake, Informatica Cloud, and similar technologies
• Support advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives by delivering clean, reliable, well‑structured data
• Identify opportunities to leverage data for improved decision‑making and operational efficiency
• Implement and manage processes related to data lifecycle, data quality, storage, reporting, and production support
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements, surface risks, and ensure technical feasibility

Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Hands‑on experience building cloud data solutions (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing
• Experience working with structured and semi‑structured data
• Familiarity with streaming/event‑driven technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Pulsar, etc.)
• Experience building serverless APIs (any cloud provider)
• Understanding of Agile development, DevOps concepts, IaC, and CI/CD
• Experience with cloud SDKs and programmatic access services
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Data Factory, or SSIS is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
