We are seeking an experienced Shopify Ecommerce Consultant/Developer to support the design and development of a new Shopify webstore as part of a fast-paced ecommerce initiative. The client is in the transportation sector. This role blends hands-on Shopify development with client-facing consulting, requiring someone who can both contribute to the technical build and collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable ecommerce solutions.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Shopify Liquid, Online Store 2.0, and modern front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), along with a deep understanding of Shopify APIs, metafields, theme sections, and third-party app integrations. In this role, you will help guide the implementation of a new storefront from concept to launch within an accelerated four-month timeline, ensuring the platform supports a high-quality user experience and business objectives.

You will work directly with client stakeholders while partnering with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and engineering, as well as coordinating with offshore development teams. This position is ideal for someone who began their career in Shopify development and has grown into a client-facing technical consultant who can balance architecture decisions, development work, and stakeholder communication. Also, you will work on a team of 3-4 Shopify experts as a client facing consultant who can also help with code when needed.
