Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Manager – Job Description

This role leads strategic sourcing initiatives within the technology category, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, and cross‑functional alignment. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders, legal teams, finance, and key vendors to execute sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and ensure procurement practices support broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic sourcing events that align with technology category goals, ensuring proper engagement from stakeholders and impacted business units.
  • Quantify, document, and communicate sourcing results and value delivered.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to complete supplier contracts and ensure alignment between business terms and procurement objectives.
  • Lead objective, data‑driven contract negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct ongoing business reviews to ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations and service levels.
  • Manage day‑to‑day procurement operations while adhering to established policies, controls, and performance standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and strategic vendors.
  • Engage senior leadership to demonstrate the value of strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives.
  • Support technology category stakeholders by aligning sourcing strategies with operational needs.
  • Drive cost optimization, working capital improvements, and supplier performance management.
  • Partner with Finance and HR to ensure standardized processes and controls that support value capture.
  • Analyze supplier capabilities, risk profiles, operational fit, and financial stability to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Lead and develop strategic supplier relationships at the executive level.
  • Monitor global macroeconomic trends and adjust sourcing strategies to mitigate risk and protect procurement operations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business experience, including at least 3 years in procurement or supply chain.
  • Experience in retail, service, food & beverage, digital, or technology environments is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related discipline or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of executing sourcing strategies and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong negotiation skills and advanced analytical problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
  • Ability to build strong team environments and support organizational revenue, profit, and growth goals.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and work ethic.
