MUST:
? 3+ years of Gainsight Administration, Strong Gainsight experience (NXT is preferred)
- Gainsight Advanced Tools: Mastery of the Connectors (1.0 and 2.0), Rules Engine, Event Framework, External Actions, Data Designer, Success Plans, and potentially Journey Orchestrator
- Exposure to salesforce development/coding skills/administration
- Architectural Thinking: Experience using Rules Engine, Event Framework, External Events, and Data Designer to manage disparate data sources and action on various stakeholder needs regarding onboarding, retention, renewals, and health scores.
- Integration Savvy: Proven experience managing third-party connectors (Zapier) and APIs.
? Salesforce Ecosystem: Understanding of Salesforce Sales/Revenue Cloud. Since your quoting and contracting live there, the admin must know how to map and interpret SFDC data. Being able to work cross-functionally alongside Salesforce admins would be an important ability.
PLUS:
- NXT experience preferred
- Salesforce Administrator/Developer Certification (or equivalent experience with Sales/Revenue Cloud).
- Complex Data Integration: ability to manage data flows from BigQuery into Gainsight. They must understand SQL and how to troubleshoot data latency between a data warehouse and a CS tool
- Automation Middleware: Experience with Zapier to maintain Slack and Zendesk loops. They should understand how to hit Gainsight API (managing rate limits) and trigger webhooks.
DAY TO DAY:
- Maintain the "Plumbing": Monitor and optimize the daily data syncs between BigQuery, SFDC, and Gainsight.
- Lifecycle Automation: Build and maintain Rules Engine logic that triggers various actions like Success Plans, CTAs (Calls to Action), and external events like Slack notifications for onboarding, retention, renewals, and health risks.
- Stack Integration: Manage the directional flow of data between systems
- Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive data dictionary and process map of all automation logic.
- Escalation management: Being able to field end user escalations, and if necessary work with Gainsight to resolve issues.
