ServiceNow Solution Architect (Hardware Asset Management)
Experience & Background
· 8+ years of hands-on experience delivering ServiceNow (HAM) solutions.
· Multiple successful deployments of HAM Pro, including full lifecycle implementations: normalization, reconciliation, reclamation, inventory management, and financial modeling.
· Experience architecting HAM solutions within complex enterprise environments involving procurement, warehouse operations, finance, ITAM governance, and CMDB/ITOM dependencies.
· Strong foundation in global hardware lifecycle processes (procurement → inventory → deployment → maintenance → retirement).
· Hands-on experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow Mobile Agent for HAM use cases, including:
o Mobile stockroom operations
o Asset assignment and check-in/check-out workflows
o Barcode/QR code scanning
o Field inventory audits and remote asset verification
Stakeholder Leadership & Communication
· Experienced in leading cross-functional workshops across ITAM, Procurement, Warehouse Ops, and Finance.
· Able to present architectural decisions, tradeoffs, sequencing, and roadmaps to program leadership.
· Experienced in mentoring developers, analysts, and junior architects on HAM best practices and process governance.
Architecture & Delivery Responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end architecture for HAM Pro programs, ensuring scalability, governance, data quality, and integration integrity.
· Define asset data models, reconciliation designs, HAM governance rules, and cross-system dependencies.
· Drive HAM-specific requirements workshops with Procurement, Finance, Logistics, ITAM, and IT Operations stakeholders.
· Produce architectural deliverables (diagrams, interface contracts, data flows, governance playbooks).
· Provide technical oversight for development teams implementing HAM features, workflows, integrations, and mobile experiences.
Technical Expertise
· Deep architectural knowledge of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, including:
o HAM Pro (Normalization, Reconciliation, Lifecycle Workflows)
o Stockroom & Inventory Model
o Asset Workflow Automation and Hardware Request Fulfillment
o Barcode Scanning, Asset Audits, and Warehouse Operations
· Strong technical alignment across platform products:
o CMDB & CI/Asset Reconciliation
o ITSM (Request, Change, Incident), ITOM Discovery
o SAM Pro / ITAM ecosystem
o Procurement & Vendor Management modules
· Experience designing integrations with:
o ERP systems for procurement (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
o Warehouse/Inventory management systems
o Scanning devices, kiosks, or mobile inventory tools
Certifications
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required
· CIS-HAM – required
· CIS -Data Foundations – required
· CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, or SAM Pro certs – Multiple Certs preferred
· ITIL v4 certification – preferred
