Overview

Seeking a hands‑on Software Engineering Manager to design, build, and maintain scalable software architecture for core application systems. This role oversees development efforts, ensures data integrity across integrated platforms, and guides technical strategy while managing a team of developers. Ideal for a senior engineer or architect who can balance leadership, architecture, and coding responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

•        Design and maintain scalable, robust software architecture across key application components

•        Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of assigned software projects

•        Ensure software scalability, data integrity, and alignment with enterprise technology strategies

•        Lead integration efforts and maintain data/application compatibility across systems

•        Collaborate with leadership to define technical direction and support strategic initiatives

•        Review change requests, identify overlaps, and recommend prioritization

•        Support large program implementations involving multiple interfaces or system modifications

•        Provide technical guidance to developers and oversee code quality

•        Assist in forecasting software and hardware needs for application environments

Supervisory Responsibilities

•        Manage and mentor analyst/programmers

•        Participate in hiring, performance planning, and development discussions

•        Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to promote high performance

Must‑Have Skills

•        Vue.js, SQL Server, C#, JavaScript, HTML, Web services, .NET Core framework

•        Strong understanding of SDLC, application modularization, security, and logic design

•        Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills

•        Ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments

•        ASPX experience

•        EDI 873, 935, 299

•        Experience with data‑driven applications and database programming

•        Background supporting claims‑related or highly integrated systems

Qualifications

•        Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred

•        Master’s degree strongly preferred

•        10+ years related experience, including:

•        7+ years software development

•        5+ years hands‑on programming in database/data‑driven applications
