Our fast-growing insurance client based out of Durham, NC is seeking a Policy Admin Systems Analyst to join their team as a full time employee. The Senior Systems Analyst acts as a subject matter expert responsible for defining, analyzing, and validating business and system processes within a policy administration environment. This role focuses on translating business needs into detailed system requirements and user stories, while partnering with engineering, quality assurance, and business teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.

This position sits within an Application Services group that supports a policy administration platform along with other configurable enterprise systems such as customer management tools, data integration services, and document generation solutions.

The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who takes ownership of deliverables and consistently follows work through to completion. They will work closely with business partners, product leadership, development teams, testing teams, and release management to ensure systems function as intended. Responsibilities include investigating and reproducing system issues, assessing the impact of upcoming enhancements, and providing thoughtful recommendations to support successful product implementations and releases.

Prior experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role within an IT organization is required, along with demonstrated knowledge of insurance operations. Hands-on experience with policy administration platforms and insurance products—particularly annuity products—is strongly preferred. This role reports to a senior technology leader and requires onsite presence three days per week at a corporate office in Durham, North Carolina.
