The ideal candidate for this role has 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience. A successful Technical Product Owner should fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:

– Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements

– Working with the department leadership to define the vision for the team’s product

– Creating a product road map based on this vision

-Be able to configure and build out of the box functionality by themselves including but not limited to, dashboards, reports, capacity management, project management all within SPM

– Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements

– Developing user stories for development work that requires more technical knowledge or customization

– Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process

– Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates

– Owning quality and test quality for the teams work
